Thank you for your review. My guests’ feedback is very important to me, and I take your points very seriously in order to improve my service.
It is unfortunate that you felt the trip did not live up to your expectations. I would like to clarify a few things, however.
First, I would like to thank you for coming fishing with us. My crew and I enjoyed having you onboard, which is why we also offered you a half-day of cruising complimentary. As you’re aware, my crew went above-and-beyond to provide you an enjoyable time, going so far as to get in the water to take better pictures for you. I truly hope this was a memorable experience for you and your family.
Second, I would like to address your point about not having any bait, and not catching fish inshore. As was clearly explained on the phone call and during the trip, we had plenty of live bait for tuna, and ballyhooed for trolling. The issue arose when you insisted on going inshore, where we would have little to no chance of catching fish to eat. Unfortunately, in this part of the Pacific it can be tricky to catch fish of your choice inshore. However, it is important to note that we did offer you Yellow-fin Tuna and Sailfish which are plentiful in these seas at this time of the year however you did insist on going inshore to catch fish to bring back and eat.
Lastly, I do hope that you have had an enjoyable time in Costa Rica. We strive to provide the most enjoyable and lasting memories to the plentiful people who come visit our beautiful land. Whenever your next fishing trip might be, might I suggest taking note of the Crew’s suggestions on where and what to fish. Crews likely have many years fishing in these waters and are vastly experienced.
