Our family of six (ages 11+) had an amazing time on our first fishing charter!  We had been watching the weather all day as it looked like a storm was heading our way for the evening.  Sure enough, after about 30 min of leaving the marina, the winds picked up and the rain started.  Captain Sonny and Hunter skillfully brought us through the storm.  After about 45 min of crazy rain, waves, and hail, the storm quieted and we picked up fishing where we had left off.  Hunter was a first-rate skipper, handily dropping and playing the lines to help us land a cooler full of fish.  When we returned to the marina, it was dark and the power was out, but Hunter wasn’t phased.  He set up to clean and fillet our catch using the flashlight from his phone!  Thank you so much, Sonny and Hunter, for a memorable evening out on the lake!  (The storm was the icing on the cake!!)

Our family (3 young adults ages 18-22 plus mom and dad) booked this fishing trip because of a recommendation from my sister who fished with Sonny 2 previous times.

We had a wonderful morning of fishing. Great communication prior to the trip and everything was ready to go on time. Sonny and Hunter worked well as a team. Sonny found the best area to get the fish and Hunter worked incredibly hard with the lines. They were both very personable and friendly.

We caught our daily limit of Lake Trout plus a Cisco. Hunter filleted all of the fish for us so we could bring it home with us. Absolutely recommend to others looking for this type of experience. Thank you for helping us create memories!

Rachel kept us informed every step of the way, and when there were obstacles that made the trip impossible she did what was needed to make sure we still got our fishing trip

This charter was a great experience from start to finish! Captain Sonny called us the day ahead of our scheduled charter to let us know the best times the fish had been biting that week and gave us the opportunity to shift the time in order to make the most out of our experience.
The mate, Griffin, really made the experience for us. He explained how everything worked, set everything up seamlessly for us, and was just a great energy to have on the boat. At the end, Griffin showed us how to properly fillet the fish and sent us on our way. Overall, we cannot say enough positive things about this experience and highly recommend doing this with Captain Sonny and Griffin

My Father, Son, and I did the 12-4 pm fishing trip a few weeks ago. We were able to catch 4 lake trout. The Captain was very knowledgeable, polite, and great with a 6 year old on board. Josh ran the back of the boat and allowed my son to participate in letting lines out, operating the down riggers, and even allowed him to whack the fish. He kept my son entertained for the majority of the trip, even during the lulls when not catching. He was a big part of my young son having a great first fishing trip experience. We left personal items on the boat and the staff was kind enough to mail it back to us even though the shipping probably cost more than the items. My only wish was that there was a gigantic fan on board to keep the air moving and cool us down (lol) that hot day! This is something I could see us doing again- next time hunting for salmon!
