    Novice at deep sea fishing

    Not knowing what to expect is always exciting. The little uncomfortable feeling is soon driven back by the assuring captain Wouter. He brought his pal to come help him. After embarking we swiftly went to about 2km offshore and crisscrossed the ocean. In and out. Just when laziness started to affect our upper eyelids, at about 10:00, we had the first bite! With Wouter’s professional help the fish was quickly brought on board and stored in the boat. About an hour later, the same thing happened! About noon the big rods came out. This time we had a big Marlin on the line. It jumped a number of times! After struggling for an hour, it surfaced and we could let it go. What a nice mix between relaxing and adrenaline!
