Reelin for Research charity tournament

Had a great group for the #reelinforresearch tournament this past Saturday! We spent most of the morning inshore chasing a couple of schools of #redfish using top water baits and popping corks with non stop action. We ended our day catching Bluefish, and flounder. We also hooked up with a really nice cobia on a trout rod but couldn't keep it out of the structure and ended up breaking him off on the third run which was a heart breaker. Our team ended up finishing in the top 5 and our Jr. angler took second place in the Jr division with his first ever Redfish which weighed in at 6.10lbs.

Had a blast fishing with Capt. Allen Heath. Caught a bunch of slot drum, a few flounder, and nice keeper trout. Nice new Sea Hunt and great gear made it a memorable event. Booking a trip in the fall in hopes of a citation trout. Looking forward to my next trip on the Reel Tight!
