Sorry you felt that way Paul. I do stay inside mostly after helping the mate set lines. Usually it is a good thing to have the captain at the wheel keeping an eye on where the boat is going. As far as being on the phone, both the mate and I were in contact with the other boats on the water that night trying to find out where the fish had moved to. That morning we had done very well in that same are, so much so that the group gave the mate a $300 tip, but upon getting lines set we knew right away there was a big change as the water had warmed up greatly causing the fish to scatter. Unfortunately none of the boats out that night were able to figure them out even though we were all trying to work together. Under similar circumstances I would do the same thing as I always try to get my clients on as many fish as possible.
