Captain Arturo Calderas has been fishing for more than 2 decades now. In addition to being a charter captain, he's also been an avid tournament angler for the last 5 years and has had his share of awards to boot. For him, the best part of his job is when he fishes with people who haven't fished before, or when someone catches a fish they've never caught before. Seeing those expressions on people's faces is much better than catching the fish himself!

One of the best parts of our trip was our fishing trip with Get’m Hook’d Fishing Charter and Captain Arturo! We had such a great time, caught fish, laughed nonstop, and made even more wonderful memories together. Captain Arturo was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and relaxing. We highly recommend booking a trip with him if you’re visiting Padre Island!

Half Day Trip (AM) • 4 adults • 1 childAlthough the fish weren't cooperating, as other guides had similar challenges that day, Arturo made it fun and we kept aggressively working the schools of fish. We caught 3 keepers and still had a great time and will fish again next year with Arturo.
