The two of us caught a lot of big fish. Capt Rocky was very helpful and knowledgeable.  No mate but was always there to bait, re-rig and provide advice. We booked a 3/4 day and caught lots of big red snapper, large grouper, Amberjack and Black snapper. Unfortunately all our fish were out of season so no fresh fish for dinner. Still a great day. Would recommend this trip.

We had a great time! It was slow and exciting at the time, which doesn’t sound like a good combination,  but it was. We went right to bait fishing, which the kids loved. Then we headed out for offshore. In the process, we stopped off to do some amberjack and red snapper fishing. While in that location, we got surrounded by storms. I booked Captain Rocky & Karma for me and two 15 year old boys.  We were all beginners.  Rocky was patient with us as we got comfortable with the equipment and process.  We started out catching live bait, then headed a few miles out.  Rocky knows the area well and has been taking charters out for 40+ years.  He stopped at three different areas and we had success at every stop.  We caught several Red Snappers, Bonita, and Amber Jack.  Even caught a King Marlin that was able to get away right... Captain Rocky was such a great guy, set us up catching bait then off to catch some fish.  He knows where the fish are. We caught a lot of fish but had to release some because they were out of season to keep. Not only was the fishing fun, but Captain Rocky just has that certain personality about him.
