Captain Rocky Griffith always knew he wanted to fish for a living. By now, he's been fishing professionally in Destin since 1984. He loves nothing more than sharing his passion with new customers and hopes to get beginners and children hooked on fishing.
Head out aboard a spacious 29' Stamas fishing boat. Up to 6 guests are welcome on board, and you'll all be able to fish at the same time when bottom fishing. Make yourselves at home in the comfortable cabin that boasts a bed, and full head toilet. Bring your own drinks and snacks and make the most of your time aboard.
She's also fully-equipped for all your needs. The captain will fill up the livewell, as the trolling lines will do their job from the downriggers and outriggers. When you've found the fishing grounds, Capt. Rocky will turn on the wireless trolling motor, as he gives you a helping hand. Settle into the fighting chair and have the edge over the beast on the end of your line!
Whether you're fishing the wrecks or the depths, you're in for a treat. Use light or heavy tackle and work yourself hard to fill the boat. Go after stunning and delicious Snappers, Groupers, Mackerel, Cobia, and Mahi Mahi, and you may even attract the bite of a Shark!
Everything you need for a productive day is waiting for you on board, and your captain will even clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day. Rocky even brought the big boy rod and let me hook a giant bull shark!! He tended to my 8 yr old very good as well!! Highly recommend Rocky!!

Live bait had the Red Snappers biting consistently and for beginner fishers it was easy and stress free. Captain Rock even cleaned our fish for us after the catch and bagged it up for us to take back with us. Overall great experience.

Unfortunately our trip was canceled because of weather. However, our Capt did everything possible to get us out there. He offered to reschedule for the afternoon and the next day. The weather didn’t improve, but we really appreciate him trying to get us out there! And once we decided to cancel he was super quick at refunding the money!

He's been fishing professionally out of Destin since 1984 and never tires of exploring the Gulf's riches. He's done it all and loves nothing more than sharing his passion with children and other beginners. Their excitement is his excitement, so he hopes to 'help people catch that fish that'll make their day, their year, their life!'
