- Captain Brad D'Alfonso grew up fishing the Louisiana marsh, sharing weekly phone calls for fishing plans and tactics with his dad and uncle to maximize their weekend fishing adventure. 'We fished old school, no GPS and no trolling motor, but it taught us a lot.' Captain Brad's love for fishing grew onto his own children and watching their eagerness and excitement, he decided to start guiding to share and teach others about the beautiful Louisiana fishing estuaries. 'I always wanted fishing to be more than just a hobby or pastime, I love the wow effect the Louisiana marsh and fisheries have on our customers.'
- Techniques
- Here at Speck Dat Charters anglers will have an opportunity to see the spectacular Louisiana interior marsh and islands while catching a wide variety of saltwater fish. Our target fish are typically Speckled Trout and Redfish while also catching Flounder, Black Drum, Sheepshead and Bass. Speck Dat Charters will provide you with all rods, reels, tackle and bait to maximize your angling experience. At the end of our trip Speck Dat Charters will also clean and bag all of your daily catch as well as give you some tips to cooking and preparing your catch. On our guided trip you should expect to receive full first-class experience and genuine good service. Capt. Brad strives to have a very pleasurable and comfortable fishing trip and will accommodate all skill levels of anglers. Kids over 7 years old are always welcome but let us know ahead of time so we can fit them for proper life jackets. All anglers 16 years of age and older must have a valid Louisiana fishing license.
