Capt. Brad loves his job and it translates into the first-class service he always strives to provide to everyone fishing with him. You'll join him on his 24' Blazer Bay boat that sports a 300 HP Yamaha engine and plenty of space to accommodate up to 5 people.
The vessel is loaded with everything you need for a productive day on the water, including a live bait well, a wireless trolling motor, and quality Daiwa fishing gear. Everyone on board can fish at the same time, and there's a T-top to protect you from the unyielding Louisiana sun. All things considered, the boat is perfectly suited for the fishing conditions in the marsh.
When it comes to your catch, all the most popular saltwater species are there for the taking. All levels of anglers are welcome to hit the water with Capt. Brad, and he'll go the extra mile to put you on brag-worthy prey. Speckled Trout, Redfish, Flounder, Sheepshead, and Black Drum are the favorite local catches and your primary targets.
When you come back to land, your guide will clean and bag everything you caught for your convenience. If you need a good recipe to prepare the fruits of your hard work, Brad is your guy.
On your side, you should show up with a valid Louisiana fishing license, and a supply of drinks and food to last the trip. Kids will have a great time with Capt. Brad, just make sure that they're at least 5 years old, so that they can enjoy the experience fully.

We had a great trip. If you get a chance to go out with Captain Brad with Speck Dat Charters you should definitely do it. He was a great captain and we will definitely have him take us out again highly recommend

First time out on the water in Louisiana and we had an absolute blast. Captain Brad was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the local area and clearly very passionate about what he does. We caught a variety of species, including a really nice redfish. Captain Brad cleaned all our fish for us and was an absolute pleasure to be around. He was very professional and did his best to put us on the fish at all times. I learned a lot out there and can’t wait to come back.

Captain Brad is the man! I came from out of town during a historic chill, very low temps and very low water level. Captain Brad was very flexible and woke up extra early to make sure it was safe to go out on the boat. It felt like a gamble, but it paid off! We found lots of red fish and had a great full day catching and chatting. Brad taught me a lot about how the tides work and what to look for. Patient and friendly, I highly recommend Captain Brad for your NOLA fishing trip!

I had a fun/chill day with Captain Brad. I like fly fishing, so this was a new experience for me and I had a blast. Learned some new techniques and caught species of fish I haven't before. Captain Brad drove all over to get me on fish. PSA don't be stupid like me and not wear sunscreen!

We had a fantastic day fishing with Captain Brad. Booking was easy, boat was clean/set up well and Brad was fun to spend the day with. We caught 6 different types of fish in multiple spots. We will definitely fish with Speck Dat again the next time we are in LA. Thanks for a really fun day!!
