Wahoo, mahi mahi, barracuda and Sashimi

We went on a 6 hour fishing trip with the Johnson family. We started fishing for mahi mahi (dorado) for a while where we could see the birds eating. After fighting them for a while right at the down rigger we hooked a big Wahoo that put up a good fight until we managed to get it out of the water. We continued fishing for some more dorados and barracudas. At the end when we were back at the marina we prepared a mahi mahi and bonito sashimi for them so they could enjoy their fresh fish in the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Great day fishing with Wayne and his wife we got plenty catches and got different species reeled in! Caught a sailfish, mahi mahi, 2 big amberjacks on bottom fishing, tuna and bonitas!

Had an amazing day with this two friends, we spend the day looking for big fish and got into the big school of mahi mahi, reel for around 20 minutes for the big male dorado and got good sashimi made on the boat with the fresh bonito!

Great experience with great crew. This boat had nice overhead covers, AC with cabin with bathroom which was perfect for the very sunny day. The boat needs a better “fighting chair” but everything else was perfect. We had lots of near misses but pulled in 6 nice tunas which they filleted for us which we had our hotel cook for us. I would recommend this boat. They also gave us a boat view tour of Isla Mujeres which was nice along with a quick swim.

We have done several of these excursions, a few with fishing booker and honestly there just wasn’t enough fishing activity for us. Others we have done, the crew sits back and let’s customers experience the full effect of catching, reeling and the capture. This trip is not designed for anglers but rather the very novice. We actually returned 2 hours hour, at our request, due to extreme boredom.

Thank you for your review, we are sorry that you didn’t like the way that we fish, we have been fishing with many people and everybody like to do it different when the clients tell us that they want to take more hands in the process we let them but we never know if you don’t tell us on how much you want to do all the catch! Sorry for the low fishing activity but as you know this is fishing and we can’t never control how the fish are eating at that moment, we always go to the best points... More

Excellent experience, I went fishing with my 7 year old boy and the trip was fantastic we catched 5 fishes one Bonito, One Tuna (Black Tail), two Dorados (Mahi Mahi) and one Sierra the boat and the crew was excellent…!!!
