Fishing in the Gulf of Mexico is in Captain Barry Deshamp's blood. He's been doing it for over 30 years, and he's got the skills to prove it. His 9-Ball Fishing Charter is the product of the love of fishing and the desire to show as many people as possible just how amazing angling can be. Capt. Barry specializes in family charters and has great patience and eagerness to pass on the rod to the younger generations.

2nd trip just as fun as the 1st

    6 HOUR OFFSHORE • 2 adults • 1 child

This was our second trip out with Captain Barry and Ryan at 9-Ball Fishing Charters, they exceeded expectations. We had an amazing time and ended up catching nearly 30 fish (not even counting the ones we released!). It was an incredible day on the water - my son absolutely loved it and is already talking about going back again. Captain Barry and Ryan make the entire experience, fun, easy, and memorable, especially for kids. I can’t recommend 9-Ball Fishing Charters enough. If you’re thinking about booking a trip, do it – you won’t regret it.

    Response from Captain

    Fun Trip!!!

    4 HOUR INSHORE • 2 adults

We had a great time! Caught a bunch of fish, watched dolphins swim around our boat (that was so cool!) and saw a stingray. Captain Barry had us in the right spots and Ryan was really great at doing his deckhand thing. 4 hours was the right amount of time for us. Thank you both for a wonderful time!

What's biting with 9-Ball Fishing Charters in Gulfport

October brings a welcome end to the scorching heat of summer. This is a great time to fish the oyster beds and shallow structure for Speckled Trout and Redfish. It's your last chance to bag Amberjack.
