Captain Barry Deshamp will not keep you guessing what’s the Mississippi fishery like – he’ll take you out and show you it’s extraordinary. You and your family will have an adventure of a lifetime and bring home wonderful memories and a cooler full of fish.
To start off your fishing extravaganza on the right track, come aboard a 23’ Donzi center console rigged with a 300 HP Yamaha engine. The vessel is a classic, sturdy, strong, and spacious enough to accommodate up to 4 persons, which means you can bring your whole family on the trip with you.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re just discovering out your fishing passion or you’re an expert angler, Capt. Barry will welcome you aboard and will do everything in his power to get you on the fish quickly. Once you’ve picked the trip you want – a 4-hour, 5-hour, or a full day of 6 hours, start to get ready for all the fishing fun and games.
On your fishing menu for the day are the inshore superstars of the Long Beach area. Make the most out of your chance to catch as many Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Cobia, and yes, even Hammerhead Shark. Chances are, you won’t have too much time to sit still, lines will be tight and calling for your attention.
All the fishing gear will be provided, so you don’t need to worry about bringing your own rods, reels, and tackle, Capt. Barry has got your back. The fishing license is also included in the price of the trip, so the only thing you have to do is show up and be in the mood to catch something fantastic.
Capt. Barry loves having families aboard, it’s always fun and dynamic, and he will gladly show the little ones how to reel in their first fish ever.

Great experience / Kid friendly
Captain Barry and Ryan were great. They both helped my son and I have an outstanding trip. It was a very kid friendly experience and I plan on doing it again. My 8 year old has said to me several times since we got back, “that was the best day of my life”; as a parent, I couldn’t ask for anything more. We were fortunate enough to catch several fish, including shark. We couldn’t have done it without captain Barry and Ryan. I highly recommend 9-Ball Fishing Charters.

Perfect trip for my wife & I.
Very convenient boarding at the Gulfport Harbor. Within 20 minutes after leaving the dock, we were catching white trout and lots of them. Captain Barry & first mate Ryan were excellent, telling us a lot about the area & the type of fishing available throughout the year. We will definitely use them on subsequent trips to Gulfport.

Half Day Off Shore with Capt. Barry 9 Ball Charters
If you want THE BEST, FORGET THE REST! Capt. Barry and Jason are true Professionals. Left the dock at 5:45 and lines were in the water at 6:00. Not kidding when I say we had a fish on 1 minute after bait hit the water. These guys know what they are doing. Had a limit of monster redfish by 7:15. Caught an additional 5 or 6 more which were catch and release. Bonus of 12 beautiful gafftop which are great eating. Caught a few nice trout to finish off the morning. Pictures don’t lie! Check ‘‘em out! Lastly, if you bring snacks and drinks you better consume them first cause you’re not going to have time once lines hit the water! Thanks for a great day of fishing! Keith
