Overall great experience!  Our captain Noah was able to put us on the fish immediately.  Thor was very knowledgeable and fun to learn from!  They allowed the ability to set the hook and fight the fish yourself for people comfortable fishing, but were also very helpful and patient for people not as comfortable.  We reeled in 3 Mako sharks and enjoyed our time on the water.  One of the best experiences during our time visiting CA.  We would highly recommend!

We had a great trip with Rocken Reel! We were celebrating my sons 13th birthday and they made him feel so special! My son really wanted to catch a barracuda, and both him and my husband caught one! along with about 30 sea bass! We ended the day catching a mako shark! It was awesome! The crew worked like crazy to make sure we caught fish and we had the best time! I would recommend them to anyone!

Great way to spend my 60th. Captain Steve and Thor made my Bday. Great personalities made it fun and best of all SIX OF US CAUGHT FISH! The boat is comfortable and spacious.

We had a group of five out for a bachelor party fishing trip. Noah and Thor kept us on fish all day and we had a ton of fun. We had a mix of guys with different levels of fishing experience and handled us no problem. The boat itself was also extremely comfortable.

The passion this crew has for getting you on fish and making the trip memorable is unmatched. I’ve fished all over the US with a bunch of different guides and nobody has as much fun or loves what they do as much as Steven. They worked hard the entire time to get us on fish never sitting idle or giving up. Super accommodating and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back to fish with the Rockenreel crew again.
