  Right off the bat Captain Cole was a great captain and host. we communicated prior t the tripand I asked if possible to fish for something other than flounder, even though that is the most prevalent fish i August. He did not disappoint, he took us trolling for mackerel in the ocean where are boys caught several large mackerel that put up a great fight. later we went to the by to do more hands on fishing where we caught countless flounder. Everyone on the boat was very satisfied and happy for the tour. I highly recommend Captain Cole.

  The Highlight of our Vacation!!

  If you're looking for an unforgettable fishing charter, this is it! My family and I had an amazing experience with Cole and Mason. They were incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we stepped on the boat. They helped with everything we needed and made sure everyone had a great time. I'm a complete beginner, while my husband has fishing experience, and they made the trip enjoyable for both of us. Their patience, knowledge, and great personalities made all the difference. In just two hours, we caught fish, saw dolphins, and made memories we'll never forget. This was hands down the highlight of our entire vacation and the best two hours of our trip. We can't recommend Cole and Mason enough and will definitely book with them again the next time we're in town!

  I recently had the pleasure of going fishing with Captain Cole Evans and his first mate on a bay fishing trip out of Ocean City, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish! As a 60-year-old angler who enjoys getting back on the water, I was looking for a knowledgeable, professional captain who could deliver a fun, productive day without any hassle — and Captain Cole absolutely delivered.0 From the moment we met at the dock, Captain Cole and his mate were welcoming, organized, and clearly passionate about what they do. They grew up fishing these waters (Chesapeake and Atlantic), and it shows in their expertise. They knew exactly where to go for the best action, explained the different bites and techniques for each species, and kept us on fish the entire time. The boat was clean, safe, and well-equipped, and they were quick to help with rebaiting, unhooking, and making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. We had a fantastic catch — plenty of action and smiles all around. Captain Cole’s easygoing style made it relaxing yet exciting, and his local knowledge turned what could have been an average trip into one of the best fishing outings I’ve had in years. Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or bringing family for a memorable day, I can’t recommend Following Seas Guide Service highly enough. We’ll definitely be booking again soon!   Awesome fishing for families!

  I highly recommend Captain Cole for a relaxing fishing trip. it was perfect for our family of four, especially for Mom, who happened to get a little queasy when we were fishing on some choppy water near the inlet. Cole was very attentive and kept checking her color. :-) First Mate Mason kept the hooks baited and talked my boys through reeling in some nice fish. The whole family is ready to sign up for another trip next year.

  awesome trip

  3 hour Bay Fishing - 7:00 AM on August 29, 2026 • 4 adults • 2 children

  took my son and grandson (3) on a 3 hr. bay trip. Cole and the first mate were fantastic with my grandson. They got us hooked up on some sea bass, toug, and sheepshead. A fish would bite and they would give the rod to my grandson and let him reel them in. He had such a great time. All in all he caught a couple sea bass, a sheepshead and a flounder, all firsts for his short fishing career.
