Chartering is not a job for me, it's my desire and passion for fishing. To be able to utilize my 50 years on the water experience to put my clients on fish and watch their smiles and excitement while they are reeling in a fish is what drives me to do what I do. I want my clients to have a fun filled day making memories and catching fish.
I am also a Redfish Professional Angler. I fish many tournaments across the southern U.S.
There's also an old saying... 'If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a life time'. I enjoy teaching my clients what I've learned, about different techniques and styles of fishing to help them a become a better angler.

Half Day Trip • 2 adults • 1 childI wanted to take my 5yr old fishing while on vacation. Booked a trip with Capt Clinton because of is reputation with giving kids a good experience. We met at the dock, loaded up and headed out. Within 20min of stepping on the boat, we were catching fish. We continued catching fish at such a rapid pace that they were piling up in the boat. Had to take a break to put them in the cooler. Capt Clinton was so good with my son, helping him with anything he needed and answering a thousand questions he had. He was very considerate and kind. My kid had the best time, I as well. All in all, we put 93 fish in the boat. Afterwards Capt worked hard, cleaning the massive haul we had. He bagged everything up and sent us on our way. Perfect trip! I have no reason to look for another capt in this area, I will be booking with Get N Hooked when I get back to New Orleans. Thanks again Capt

Captain deArmas provided a magnificent day and experience for me and my girlfriend. plenty of fish caught and an ice chest full of some fish we will be eating on for the foreseeable future. I am an experienced angler and Captian deArmas taught me things that i was very receptive to, especially stepping into “his world” of redfishing. ive fished my whole life and this was just another reason I love fishing with new people. I would recommend Captain deArmas to any and everyone. the conversations were endless and the time we had was bar-none. 11/10

Half Day Trip • 5 adultsWe went fishing today with Captain Clinton DeArmas while on a family trip to New Orleans, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our family of five had a great time and caught way more fish than we ever expected. Captain Clinton was a great guide, worked hard to keep us on the fish, and made sure everyone had a good time. He was easy to talk to and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re thinking about booking a fishing trip, I highly recommend Captain Clinton. We had an awesome time, made some great family memories, and will definitely book another trip with him the next time we’re in the area.

He tirelessly cast for each of the four of us until his wise teaching enabled us to cast accurately for ourselves. We caught plenty of fish, including multiple good sized redfish. Most importantly, though, he put each of us at ease and kept all of us (even my surly teenagers) engaged and laughing! We had a great time, and would happily book again! No after whether you are a total beginner or seasoned expert, Captain Clint can tailor your day to maximize both the fish and the fun!

3/4 Day Trip (9:00-3:00) • 2 adultsMy son and I are in from Charleston, South Carolina and we thought we understood Red fishing being from a coastal state. We were amazed at how many fish we caught and most of them were Reds. Captain Clinton was very knowledgeable and professional but still personable. We enjoyed the conversation just as much as the fishing. He and I are both Navy Veterans, and it’s always good to talk to a fellow sailor while catching big fish in large quantities. Cannot recommend this charter enough. I’ve grown up fishing my whole life but this was by far my best day on the water. Plus bonus really cool father/son core memory with my man cub.

Summer fishing is here and my clients have been doing an exceptional job putting a smorgasbord of fish in the box. Some of my trips include first timers catching everything from redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, flounder, Bass, and even garfish, and needlefish. Many of memories were made.

Mixing it up

Mr. Chris flew in from Chicago wanting to catch some Louisiana Redfish. Well, he got that and more.
Fishing a post front, I knew it was going to be tough, and he was thinking the same thing. But each spot we stopped at was producing fish. By the end of the day, Mr. Chris put together a nice mixed bag. 6 redfish, 3 large mouth saltwater bass, 2 channel catfish, 1 blue cat, 1 sheepshead, and a bunch of rat reds. Way to go sir!!! Pleasure having you onboard.

Anniversay Fishing Trip

Sometimes, It’s not always about filling the box, but rather just about getting that tug and making memories.
Thats just what Ms Kasandra and her husband from California did while celebrating their anniversay in New Orleans.
Despite cold tempatures, low water, and high winds, Ms Kasandra landed this nice red. I’m not sure who was more excited, him, her... or me.

With the New Year upon us, Get’n Hooked Inshore Adventures would like to thank all my clients that helped make 2019 a spectacular year of fishing. It has been a year full of fun, “adventure“, and making many memories. Whether you’re a person from 4 or 94, or never caught a fish before, to the avid angler that just enjoys the tug, just to watch the smiles and excitement when they hook a fish is why I do what I do.
I am looking forward to 2020 of Fishing with repeat clients, and also meeting new ones. If you have chartered with me before, you know that when we meet at the dock, you were my clients. But by the end of the trip, I’ve gained new friends from all across the world.

Winter Reds

Though the temperatures may be a little on the cold side, winter redfishing is still hot!! Along with having the bonus of Large Mouth Bass.
Clients have been catching quality Redfish and Bass, and catching decent numbers of them.
Redfish in the winter go into their hibernation mode, meaning they get into schools and stay in specific areas. Where there’s Redfish, are also the bass. The bass have acclimated themselves to the saltwater eating the same baits as the Redfish. That’s where I apply my fishing knowledge to locate these schools, and get you on some good hookups.
December has proven to be a great month of fishing, and January is looking just as good.
