Get’n Hooked Inshore Adventures 

Chose Captain deArmas over a handful of other charters based on a gut feeling. and well my gut feeling was right. Captain deArmas provided a magnificent day and experience for me and my girlfriend. plenty of fish caught and an ice chest full of some fish we will be eating on for the foreseeable future. I am an experienced angler and Captian deArmas taught me things that i was very receptive to, especially stepping into “his world” of redfishing. ive fished my whole life and this was just another reason I love fishing with new people. I would recommend Captain deArmas to any and everyone. the conversations were endless and the time we had was bar-none. 11/10

We went fishing today with Captain Clinton DeArmas while on a family trip to New Orleans, and it was one of the highlights of our vacation. Our family of five had a great time and caught way more fish than we ever expected. Captain Clinton was a great guide, worked hard to keep us on the fish, and made sure everyone had a good time. He was easy to talk to and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. If you’re thinking about booking a fishing trip, I highly recommend Captain Clinton. We had an awesome time, made some great family memories, and will definitely book another trip with him the next time we’re in the area.

My son and I are in from Charleston, South Carolina and we thought we understood Red fishing being from a coastal state. We were amazed at how many fish we caught and most of them were Reds. Captain Clinton was very knowledgeable and professional but still personable. We enjoyed the conversation just as much as the fishing. He and I are both Navy Veterans, and it’s always good to talk to a fellow sailor while catching big fish in large quantities. Cannot recommend this charter enough. I’ve grown up fishing my whole life but this was by far my best day on the water. Plus bonus really cool father/son core memory with my man cub.

Overall, it was a great day on the water. The Capt’s trolling motor broke before we left dock due to a lightning strike a month prior, so we were limited in our method for fishing. Ultimately, we just went near the railroad tracks and tied off with some rope to hang in the current. We caught & kept a monster black drum, 7-8 speckled trout, some croakers, 1 sail cat, and 1 channel cat. Obviously, I would have preferred the trolling motor was operational, but we had a good time nonetheless.

We were lucky enough to spend a full day fishing with Capt. Clinton. We caught fish consistently throughout the day. Capt. Clinton moved us to a new spot as soon as the bite slowed, he worked his tail off all day. In addition to being a true professional, he also is a great guy to spend the day with, the jokes just kept coming as fast as the fish. If you are thinking of fishing in the NOLA are, you can't go wrong with Capt. Clinton. Anyone that doesn't enjoy fishing with him should find a new hobby!

My wife and I had a great experience fishing with Capt. Clinton de Armas. Even though the weather wasn’t ideal and the fish weren’t very cooperative, he worked hard to make the trip enjoyable and productive. He was extremely professional the entire time and did a fantastic job coaching my wife, making sure she felt comfortable and confident on the water. His patience, positive attitude, and dedication really stood out. Despite the tough conditions, he made the most of our time and ensured we had a memorable day. I would absolutely recommend fishing with him and would gladly book another trip.

My girlfriend and I, booked a 6 hr fishing trip with Captain Clint. He went above and beyond during our fishing trip. For example, he always made sure the hooks were baited and in the water the whole time. He also used all of his experience and resources to make sure we would have the most successful trip out. He was willing to go where the fish were biting. No matter your level of experience fishing, Captain Clint would give feedback and suggestions to improve fishing techniques to ensure the fish were caught and in the boat going hime. If you aren’t out in the water with Captain Clint, you are missing out. His level of energy and excitement for each fish hooked is unparalleled. We had an absolutely hands down best expierence amd was the highlight of our vacation. Both of us were in awe of how fast Captain Clint could clean a fish!!

Captain Clinton showed us a great time as a group of new anglers. He was patient and clear while teaching us and found great spots where we were able to constantly keep catching fish. He was easy to talk to and kept up the energy throughout the trip. He was also very accommodating, getting us us a fan and bug spray to keep mosqiitos off of us while we waited for him to finish gutting and cleaning all the fish, then waiting with us for our Uber to arrive to make sure we got a ride home safely. Overall a fantastic experience and would recommend to anyone visiting New Orelans.

Captain DeArmas was absolutely phenomenal!!! Not only did I catch some high quality fish, but the knowledge he shared with me has undoubtedly made me a better fisherman. I will make it my business to book a charter with him at least quarterly.

Cap’n Clinton is a Master Host, Teacher, Coach, Cheerleader, Naturalist, and Guide. He had us on fish, from the moment the boat stopped, and worked tirelessly, keeping everyone’s line productive.
