Get’n Hooked Inshore Adventures will have you fishing the beautiful waters of Louisiana. Captain Clinton de Armas wants to get you hooked on fishing and have fun doing it. Children are most definitely welcome aboard as he wants to get them hooked on fishing as well, and have them wanting a tackle box instead of an X-box.
You’ll be fishing aboard a well-equipped 24’ Sportsman center console boat that features all the necessary amenities for an enjoyable day chasing Redfish in the bays, lakes, and marshes of Louisiana. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, the boat can access the best spots quickly and its trolling motor will then allow you to approach the fish silently.
Top-of-the-range equipment is provided – Capt. Clinton is a professional tournament fisherman and will settle for nothing less than the best on his boat. You will be using Penn rods and a variety of lures by top manufacturers. He’ll have live bait for you as well.
The waters out of New Orleans are brimming with life, and there’s always a variety of species you can target on your trip. Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout all inhabit the area, so get ready to reel ‘em in!
Capt. Clinton will not only give you pro advice throughout your trip, but he will also happily clean your catch for you upon return to the dock. A customer-centered guide, he welcomes everyone from children to avid anglers aboard his boat.
Make sure you have a Louisiana fishing license before coming aboard the boat. Any person 18 years of age and older is required to have one. A license can purchase can be purchased online from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for $20 (3 Day Saltwater Charter Pass).

Success on a Bad Fishing Day
Full Day Trip on September 19, 2025 • 3 adults • 1 child
Very little tide movement and few appearances of bait fish, but Captain Clinton was persistent in trying to put us on fish. Four of us caught the limit of Redfish, with 14 of them being regulatory keepers. One other was well over the 27” limit plus several below the 18” limit. Also caught 7 keeper specks and one keeper flounder.
This trip was for my 11 year old grandson’s birthday. Captain Clinton was very patient with him, teaching him and encouraging him .
Thanks to Captain Clinton for a successful and pleasurable day on the water.
Highly recommend. Will see him again if the Lord wills.

We had a great trip with Captain Clinton and would highly recommend. I am an intermediate inshore kayak fisherman in Texas, and my general knowledge and form improved quite a lot on our trip. The Captain was great about coaching up my wife and I as we had a great day on the water. We caught plenty of redfish, speckled trout, a flounder, and an alligator gar on our trip in early September. If our spot was unproductive, time to move on. My wife caught a 22" redfish in the first 15 minutes of the trip.
We will definitely be fishing with Captain Clinton next time we are in the region, thanks for a great time!

The Best Charter

Captain Clinton was very knowledgable and very nice. We had a group of 6. My wife and I plus our 4 children age 16,12,11, and 7. The Captain was great with all of us especially as it was our first time salt water fishing. He kept a very pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere on the boat. He joked around with us all and eager to help when he was needed. He even took time to help one of my sons get setting the hook down for catching fish. We caught all kinds of species from stingray to black drum. We took about 30 fish in and released a bunch others that were too small. Every place he took us we were catching fish. After we were done he cleaned our catch. He even showed us his crab traps. He made it feel like you were out there fishing with a relative, just another family member. We had a blast and never felt rushed. I would recommend Captain Clinton to everyone. If your questioning taking your kids do not worry he is great and takes care of everyone! Please book a trip with him and try to prove this review false! It will not jappen and you will be as happy as me and my family were with Captain Clinton!!

Captain Clinton did an excellent job and we had so much fun on this charter! We caught speckled trout, white trout, sail cats, and more on this trip, which was specifically focused on trout, and we caught a bunch! Captain provided us with everything we needed to make the trip fun, comfortable, and informative. We told jokes, listened to music, enjoyed a beautiful day on the water, caught fish at various locations, and learned a lot along the way. The day ended with Captain cleaning our fish, which we took with us and fried that evening for a delicious meal. If you want a good time, a lot of laughs, and an experienced angler taking you to the best fishing spots, book with Captain Clinton!
