Not a bad day considering it was slow in the morning because of a bright full moon overnight. The afternoon picked up the action with some triples and doubles for excitement. We had nine at the end of the day but had five more that we pulled the hook on. And around half dozen nockdowns that never come tight on the hook. Some days are like that. Good times and look forward to our upcoming trip together.

Went for a 4 hour nearshore excursion and found the Spanish Mackerel nibbling along for the young and ambitious anglers! Nothing more fun than watching the excitement in a child catching fish! After a hard day of fishing Jr. Capt Jack had to bring us home! Thanks to the Hoover family for a great afternoon.

Started the day off with a slow but steady bite in rough seas but managed to gather up some Yellowfin tuna, while fighting one of the tuna we got a drifting bite from a nice gaffer Mahi. A little more trolling and we found the vicious strike of a Wahoo to complete our Meat Slam that day. A Meat slam is the combo of these three species on a single fishing day. Thanks to Froggy and his friends for an awesome day of fishing. Happy Birthday Froggy!

Started the day trolling for Tuna and managed to find one Yellowfin and one Blackfin. Action so slow we decided on some deep dropping and found the action we were looking for. Caught a limit of Blueline Tile (18) and 15 Black Seabass. Finished the day with a stop by the tower for some Amberjack action. Got three in the boat and lost a monster near the boat to catch next time.
