We had good time fishing with Captain Russ. We fished three days out of Aransas Pass with three different guide on June 9-11.  No one was catching many fish. We fished on a windy high-pressure day with Captain Russ and he consistently put us on fish. We didn’t catch our limits of keeper sized fish but we had a good time and the captain, his equipment and knowledge of the area was first class.  We will fish with him again on our next trip.

Our guide was very knowledgable and I was completely comfortable in knowing he was going to do the very best he could to make sure we had a great time, in addition to catching something. My husband and I ended up maxing out trout limit! Fantastic time and we learned alot to boot. We definately are looking forward to fishing with him again😀

Has an amazing time fishing with Capt. Russ. He took excellent care of my wife and brother-n-law during our time on the water. Russ worked hard to ensure we had the best opportunity to get on fish and we caught quite a few that day with limits of Reds. The company and shared knowledge was top notch.m

Capt Russ is a fisherman’s captain. On a challenging bite day he worked hard to get us on good fish, going from spot to spot . He knew the bay very well and had numerous spots. We worked for it but wound up with a good stringer of Specks. Plenty of live bait, very efficient and professional/friendly.  No shortcut here…....Russ is there for the time you hired him for. He works for you and is just a gentleman. Easy fellow to fish with and I’ve fished a long time. I’d hired Russ again

This was only our second time on a guided trip! Captain Russ was fantastic at communicating with a location change 2 days in advance. When asked why the change, he said fishing was better in this area and so we agreed.  Afterall, I was paying someone who knew more about the area than i did! I wanted to fish for red fish, Captain Russ told me that they just werent hitting like they did earlier in the year. So we went for trout that were hitting fairly well.
