We had a great time on our trip. The weather looked iffy but we had the perfect window of time to get out & fish. We didn’t catch many but it wasn’t for lack of trying. I appreciated Captain Jeff showing me how to use the equipment since I hadn’t fished since I was a kid. This was a Father’s Day gift for my dad from my sister & I- what wonderful memories to make with him! Thanks Captain Jeff!

We had the absolute best charter with Jeff!  We not only caught our limit in walleye, but Jeff also taught us how to get the lines in the water. We had so much fun learning all the aspects and it was nonstop action all morning. Jeff was such a great teacher and we had such a good time. Great! Jeff the Captain was very cool. I’ve been on quite a few different charters and Jeff is the first and only captain to not only teach and explain how to do everything from set up to putting out lines, he also let us have hands on and be apart of the entire process. Most other captains insist on doing all the set up, lies out, setting hook, then they hand you the rod to reel in the fish then you must hand the rod right back to them. Takes all the fun out of fishing and frankly is just boring! I understand the need to put fish in the boat but when the client gets to be a part of the process, it’s much more gratifying and entertaining. Jeff has the ability to not only teach you how to do it but does it in a way that is not intimidating and very simple to understand. I wish other charter captains would operate in this manner. We had a blast, got our limit, and gained a ton of knowledge thanks to Jeff. I’m so glad that I booked this charter with a captain who understands how to provide his clients with an exceptional experience, well beyond any other fishing charter experience I’ve had in the past.  All other charter captains, take note and follow Jeff’s lead and you will have more bookings than you can handle. Next time I book a charter on Erie, you bet I will be booking with Captain Jeff. Thanks Jeff, I couldn’t have asked for a better fishing experience!

Well our family is from Michigan and we are versed in river fishing Salmon and Walleye, but have never been on big water.

That being said we quickly learned that we were in the gifted hands of this crew as they set up the multiple lines and ensured that we left a party of 6 limited out in just a few hours.  They dodged some bad weather for us and made some great decisions to avoid serious weather.  I was absolutely fascinated by the knowledge, teamwork and seemingly effortless actions of this crew.  When you’re a master of what you do, it always appears easy.  These guys rock it!  They were fun, always calm and active and attentive.  Would do again tomorrow if our schedule permitted.

Just book.  You will not be disappointed.  We are already planning our November trip to go for some hogs.
