Had a great 1/2 am trip with Edwardo.  We were done Bonito fishing by 10:30, and moved onto Jacks.  Caught 20 fish total today.  7 good sized Bonito’s that were tasty for Ceviche for lunch after.  Went out past the Island for some Jack fishing.  Tough fighters, lot of fun reeling them in.  Boat was fine.  It’s a panga with 2 engines.  That is what you get at this price point.  Not super plush or anything, but you know that going in.  Capital seemed to know the waters really... Overall the experience was what we were looking for. A few hiccups, it was quite windy and the crew was not able to provide live bait as they couldn’t catch anything in the harbor area prior to leaving. We had one fish on, which got away, and then didn’t catch anything. We tried to go to several areas, they communicated with other boats, it looked like no one was catching anything. Booked the half day morning trip and was met at the dock by Lalo & Abraham. Great communication on phone and in person. Super friendly guys. Headed out for Bonita, these guys were quick to get us in the fish lots of hits and hookups landed 3 species Bonita, skipjack & Mackerel. The guys even took us to an area to try for Rooster Fish and Jacks but the fish didn’t cooperate. Great time on the water , easy to talk with and work hard to get you on the fish. Thanks .

Eduardo was a fantastic guide and helped us catch plenty of fish. Beautiful views out on the water. One thing to remember…don’t ever bring a banana on the boat to eat like I did. They are considered bad luck but fortune was on our side as we still caught fish. Eduardo also took us in the middle of 1,000 Spinner dolphins which may be the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. Will book again and highly recommended!!

We could hear on the radio that all boats were struggling, and we didn’t catch any fish for the first 3 hours. After going near shore and bouncing jigs for a while, we picked up a bunch of small Groupers. We got just enough for dinner that night, so a success all in all. I will say that Cpt. Eduardo is very hands on. If you expect to get handed a pole and some live bait to fish on your own right away, this boat isn’t for you.
