I booked with Jose based on the outstanding reviews on Fishbooker, and I couldn’t be happier with our experience with Guanacaste Adventure Tours.

The fishing was excellent — my kids landed tuna, big jacks, and a mahi-mahi. Beyond the fishing, we saw whales, dolphins, sea turtles, and had an all-around epic day on the water. Cold drinks, fresh fruit, and a relaxed but professional crew made it even better.

We also booked a sunset boat tour with snorkeling, and Jose went above and beyond by remembering that it was my son’s birthday. He surprised him with a birthday cake on the boat, which made the day truly unforgettable.

I can’t recommend Guanacaste Adventure Tours enough. Jose’s crew is top-notch and worked incredibly hard to find fish, and his customer service is the best I’ve experienced anywhere.

Jose also offers many tours beyond fishing. We just returned from a crocodile river tour, and he made sure we were the first boat on the river, which meant incredible wildlife sightings. His extensive knowledge made the experience even more rewarding.

We had a seriously good trip with these fellas.  Lots of drinks, fruit, and some sanwiches provided.  We got hooked up to five different types of fish, including a couple of big roosters.  Also saw a ton of wildlife and had time to stop at a cool little beach for a swim.  Great guys, great trip.  thanks very much.

Had an amazing time on this fishing trip. The crew was super friendly, professional, and clearly knew the waters well. We ended up catching two tunas, which made the whole experience unforgettable. They even prepared fresh sashimi from the catch right on the boat, and offered us drinks and fresh fruit. The crew cleaned the tuna and packed as much as we wanted to take with us. We also spotted dolphins and sea turtles along the way, and had time to snorkel at the end. The boat was clean and comfortable, and everything was well-organized from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serious but fun day out on the water.

This was an AMAZING fishing trip that I highly recommend for a family or to anyone!  From the beginning communication with Jose was smooth and everything was easy.  He listened to every request I had and delivered!!!  The crew were so attentive to my kids, 6, 14, 16 and let them be involved in everything on the boat. This was the true fishing experience where my kids and adults were able to be as involved as they wanted.  And they got us on fish almost immediately. During the ride they had a cooler full of drinks, snacks and fruit which we appreciated very much. Following a successful few hours of fishing they took us to a crystal clear snorkeling spot where we all cooled off while viewing some incredible fish. They even got in the water and showed my 6 year old how to snorkel!!  The crew went above and beyond tho make our trip perfect!  Whether you want to fish, snorkel, chill, or just lay in the sun - this is the trip I recommend!

hooked on to a big one but it got away,  what else is new. the crew worked hard to get us some fish for dinner.  We land 3 small tuna for dinner that was the best meal ive had.  Staff was amazing
