Guanacaste Adventure Tours
Get a true Costa Rican fishing experience with Guanacaste Adventure Tours. Leave the crowded beach of Playa Hermosa behind and head to the crystal clear waters aboard a traditional fishing boat with a local guide.
Captains Jose and Eduardo were born and raised on the Papagayo Peninsula and have been fishing here most of his adult life. Passionate anglers and citizens of the area, they promise to show you the region’s highlights, with plenty of local insight.
Step aboard the 30’ locally-made center console and away you go. Up to 8 guests are welcome aboard to make yourselves at home, taking in the cool breeze from the Pacific as you cool off from the blistering sun. Hop into the water and make use of the snorkeling gear to discover the riches under the sea for an all-round experience. Just make sure to bring a towel to dry off.
You’ll find a cooler stacked full of drinks on board, so you’ll stay refreshed all day, and you can even grab a beer to make the most of your day out. With a private toilet on board, you’ll have no concerns about getting caught short, either!
Get ready for a productive day on these rich waters as you target some worldwide favorites and local specialties. Bottom fish the nearshore reefs for stunning Roosterfish and delicious Snappers, while offshore you’ll be trolling for monster Mahi Mahi and tasty Tuna. These fish will all make you work for your catch, so come prepared for an intense workout.
At the end of the day, the crew will clean and fillet your catch, so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor back at a beachside restaurant. Guanacaste Adventure Tours has thought of everything! Come aboard for an authentic taste of Costa Rica and head home with a memorable story to tell!
