My love of the water runs deep. I have core fishing memories with nearly everyone that is dear to me. From my Grandad, and Father growing up. My Wife, Kids, and closest friends. I think thats half the reason why I do this. A chance at letting others have that experience with their Friends and Family. Ive felt those core memories being made as it's happening through the years and as a Captain there's not much else that is more fulfilling.

Amazing experience for a family of 4!

    4hr Inshore/Nearshore a.m. trip4 adults

Captain Chris was a super nice guy. He’s polite, thoughtful and knowledgeable. We caught a lot of flounder, sharks, Black Sea Bass and a 26” inch red fish that we’re able to take home. He cleaned the fish well and was working nonstop to make sure we had a good time. We’re so grateful for his kindness and hardwork. Book him - you won’t be regret!

    Reported catch:

We did it all in less than a day!

    6 Hour Trip –Inshore/Nearshore (AM)2 adults

I cannot say enough about our trip with Captain Chris. Took wife fishing. We fished inshore, near shore, off the jetties and because conditions allowed and there was a rumor of bonitas on an early run, went 10 miles. Unfortunately, we missed the bonitas, but caught different fish at each location. Looking forward to going out with Captain Chris again!!

    Response from Captain

Im glad we were able to bring some fish over the rail. Definitely a swing and a miss on the Bonito. Turned out to be a beautiful day. Thanks for booking!

    Captain Chris is great!

    4hr Inshore/Nearshore a.m. trip4 adults

Chris worked his butt off for us in tough conditions. Extremely pleasant guy. Very patient with my daughter and wife who aren't very experienced fishermen and helped them both catch our supper. Thrilled both of them. Would highly recommend to anyone regardless of experience fishing.

    Reported catch:
    Bluefish (Tailor)
    Redfish
    Flounder

The Fall Flatfish Tournament is the perfect place to try for huge doormat Flounder. This is a great local fishing event with a cheap buy-in and plenty of healthy competition.

Schools out for the Summer!!!

Jun 7, 2026 • Carolina Beach
Inshore fishing is picking up. The sheepshead are showing in better numbers on inshore structure. Currently a lot of smaller keepers being caught the class of fish should only get better in coming weeks. Finger mullet have shown up somewhat early this year and have been the bait of choice for fishing for Redfish, and Flounder. Nearshore fishing has still been producing great days but we are starting to have those summer time days where the fish seem to have disappeared. Spanish, and Kings have been the main target. A little further nearshore we are seeing Amberjack, Barracuda, and some Cobia have been caught. For nearshore trips like this be rigged and ready to pivot if the fish are not cooperating.

Spring Fishing April-May

Apr 27, 2026 • Carolina Beach
We had a great Atlantic Bonito season. They may be clearing out in the next week or so so get them while you can. The Spanish Mackeral bite is really heating up. There is a variety of ways to catch these fish but by far sightcasting to schools busting is my favorite. There has been a handful of Kings caught as close as right off the beach. Large menhaden bait balls are now showing up off the beach. Any day now we will see the first Cobia being caught. Flounder are moving into our nearshore structure. I recommend circle hooks or bucktails to prevent gut hooking them. Overall fishing for 2026 is starting off to a really nice start. Few pics for attention

Spring is Springing!!

Apr 2, 2026 • Carolina Beach
A Good bite on the Atlantic Bonito is filling in. Access this hard fighting, great eating fish within a few miles of the beach throughout the month of April. Easily caught trolling Mackeral Tree's or deep divers, but for the best action try casting metal jigs and ripping back to the boat when the fish are up, or vertically jigging if they are staying down. Book a trip today dates are filling fast.

Bonito the GOOD ONE!!

Feb 8, 2026 • Carolina Beach
The Bonito bite is still going strong. Mix of Blues, and my boat caught its first Spanish of the year today. After a couple warm days i expect the Spanish bite to fire off.
