Most of the fish is caught free-lining baits behind the boat but the captain also deploys big baits on the bottom for larger fish. He also drift fishes and runs offshore during certain times of the year for other species as well.

Greetings! Its mid September and as we say good-bye to the dog days of Summer, we welcome the transition into our Fall season here in South Florida. With the change in season, it brings a bunch of new opportunity and probably some of the best fishing you could ask for! We have the arrival of our fall baitfish schools, which really opens up our options on what we can target. We have great fishing offshore with Mahi, Tuna, Kingfish, and more. The reef bite continues to stay strong with tasty catches of Yellowtail Snapper and Mutton Snapper. And the nearshore fishing becomes an option when the fronts start pushing through with tons of action on mangrove snapper, mutton snapper, porgies, and yellow jacks. Last week we had a great trip out on Biscayne bay. Tons or action and non stop rod bending with some mangrove Snapper, mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, porgies, and some yellow jacks! Fish were fired up on the live bait. This is a great time of the year for this fishery. Don’t delay book today.
