Captain Danny is passionate about all kinds of fishing techniques and strategies, from light tackle fishing inshore to big game fishing offshore and everything in between. Other than being knowledgeable, the captain is friendly, patient, and loves sharing his fishing expertise and passion while paying attention to details and providing excellent customer service.
Trips depart out of Matheson Hammock Marina in Miami, FL and you’ll target a variety of species depending on the time of year. Anything from Yellowtail Snapper and Grouper on the reef to Mahi offshore and even fishing inside Biscayne Bay.
You’ll use a 25’ Triton center console outfitted with a 225 HP Mercury engine and equipped with a range of navigational gear and marine electronics, including Garmin GPS, fishfinder, and radio. It features outriggers, downriggers, an ice-box, and a livewell. Up to 4 anglers can join aboard.
You’ll be using quality Penn, Daiwa, and Shimano fishing gear as well as all the necessary bait and tackle. However, feel free to bring and use your own fishing equipment or favorite fishing rod if you’d like.
Hammertime Charters also includes a fishing license, bottled water, and ice. You’re welcome to take home any keeper fish you catch and Captain Danny will gladly clean and bag it for you. Finally, just bring some food and keep in mind that smoking and alcohol aren’t allowed during the trip.
