I've been targeting salmon/steelhead on the Manistee River since 2001. A lot has changed over the years with the fishery and it has been a roller coaster of a ride. Constant adapting to changing conditions and flows has kept my boat successful and on fish. I have successfully caught Salmon and Steelhead with a variety of tactics but I believe I have simplified my program with efficient user-friendly gear even novice anglers can quickly learn to use and be successful. I'm confident Central Coast Angling can put the fish of your dreams into the net for you!

    Best Guided Trip

    3 Hour Trip – Inland Fishing - 4:00 PM • 4 adults • 2 children

    Captain Bob was fantastic and great with our kids. He had a great plan to keep our 4 yo and 11 yo catching what they wanted to catch. We got into plenty of yellow perch and he got my son a really nice walleye. Highly recommend and next trip to Michigan we’ll be contacting him!

    Boys first fishing trip!

    3 Hour Trip – Inland Fishing - 4:00 PM • 3 adults

    We had a great inland fishing trip on Long Lake! Our captain was fantastic with my boys and made the experience fun for everyone. They caught plenty of perch and walleye and had an awesome evening on the water. Highly recommend!

    Captain Bob was awesome. showed us much patience as we were newbies. taught us technique, cleaned and fileted our fish and everything. he was patient and kind and awesome!!!!
