You'll fish from his 22' Skeeter center console. Bring two of your best fishing buddies with you, the boat can handle 3 anglers and the guide. She's powered by a 250 HP Yamaha engine that'll get you to your fish quickly and smoothly.
Capt. Robert will take you up and down the Manistee River in pursuit of Steelhead and Chinook and Coho Salmon. The fish you can target depends on the season – talk to the guide before arriving to figure out what you'll go after.
You can also hit Lake Michigan for a variety of species. Lake Trout, King and Silver Salmon, Whitefish, and Herring can all be hooked up using light tackle. Don't forget to pack a cooler, the charter will clean and fillet your catch after the trip.
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks to keep your energy up between strikes. There are snacks and drinks included on the half day trip and a shoreside lunch with drinks for the full day package.

Wow what a fantastic experience on the water today. From the very first drop we were on the lake trout. Caught at least 10 and my PB (see photo). Highly recommend Captain Bob!!!!

I've been targeting salmon/steelhead on the Manistee River since 2001. A lot has changed over the years with the fishery and it has been a roller coaster of a ride. Constant adapting to changing conditions and flows has kept my boat successful and on fish. I have successfully caught Salmon and Steelhead with a variety of tactics but I believe I have simplified my program with efficient user-friendly gear even novice anglers can quickly learn to use and be successful. I'm confident Central Coast Angling can put the fish of your dreams into the net for you!

Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
