Great morning bottom fishing

Great morning bottom fishing. Got our 6 man limit of seabass, 2 nice triggers and some throwback flounder. If you’re interested in a bottom fishing trip the last day for seabass is August 31st. Flounder is open till September 25th. The triggers should hang around with this warm water.

Excellent trolling

The inshore trolling has remained great plenty of action. We have been limiting out with bluefish almost daily and getting some spanish mackerel.

Tons of action on 6hr trip

Today we ran a 6hr trip. First half of the trip we went trolling had plenty of action, limited out on blues and had a Spanish mackerel. Second half we bottom fished, again had plenty of action. Managed 4 nice seabass and a trigger fish.

Phenomenal trolling

Both our morning and afternoon trolling trips today were excellent. Tons of action both trips with limits of nice size bluefish.

Our 4 hr trolling trips are still very productive and should remain that way threw September. The Afternoon trips are usually as productive as the morning trips too.

We had plenty of action today on both our morning and afternoon trips. We limited out on bluefish both trips and caught so many we were throwing them back. Not a lot of spanish mackerel today, we managed 1 on both trips.

Booked a half day trip on the Tarra Anne for my 4 kids and I. We arrived 15 minutes early for departure as requested by the captain and he showed up 5 minutes later. We were not really greeted or given any kind of formal introduction as we just ordered the boat and basically took off out into the water. Clearly these guys need some training on how to be a host and set the stage for how the day will go. We did eventually end up fishing and caught 5 fish that were too small to keep. Not... More

Thank you for the feedback. Sorry to hear you did not have a good experience. The trip was scheduled to leave 8 am I did say to be there 10-15 mins ahead of time to put you stuff on the boat, like I do for every charter. The mate and I were there prior; he was opening the boat and putting out the rods while I ran to the marina bathroom, we left on time. Sorry to hear that you feel like you were not greeted properly. I discussed with you the night before on the phone the plan for the day and I figured that was sufficent. Possibly I should of rediscussed it in the morning. We did have a 20 min boat ride before we started trolling, trolled for around an hr before running to the reef to bottom fish, like we discussed we would do on the phone the night before. The wind picked up which was unexpected from the predicted forcast half way threw the trip which made fishing more difficult. We tried multiple spots threw out the trip to try to get you and your crew keeper fish, but sometimes things are out of are control and the fish don’t coroperate like we would like. We always try are best and even stayed an extra 20mins as long as we could considering we had an afternoon trip. Sorry things did not work out like you expected.
