Great trip! We booked a 12 hour trip targeting marlin and sailfish. First few hours were not productive but Captain McGuinness worked to get us to the right spot. He is a wealth of knowledge, with experience that money can’t buy. His crew was also amazing. They would go from relaxing with us to feet on the deck getting prepped for fish at the slightest whistle from the captain. My family looks forward to another trip on the DOS MAS!

took 5 family members on this trip, most of whom are extremely inexperienced at offshore fishing. Captain Donald and deckhand were instrumental in helping them land some fish. We caught several sailfish and big dorado. Everyone was happy!

Of the dozen or so fishing charters that I have done, this is far and away the best. Captain Donald runs an fast paced and efficient operation. He is on top of all the lines and constantly checking and changing lures and bait as the conditions demand. He knows where to find the fish and what to do to catch them. If you are looking for a relaxing sight seeing, swimming, and snorkeling charter then find another boat. If you are looking to catch fish, this is your boat!

Donald and his crew were awesome.  True stewards of the sea who not only care about getting you on fish but also care about their impact on something that provides a livelihood for so many in Costa Rica.  The highlight of the trip was when my dad was able to reel in a bucket list fish.  Hint the fish is in the headline.  Thanks Donald and crew for an unforgettable experience.

Both the Capt and his crew are great, they know how and where to catch fish
