We booked a 4 hour fishing trip on the only day we could go on a family trip to the area. The conditions were a bit rough due to the winds and some storms that went through the area. The crew did awesome and kept lines in the water the whole time. We managed to catch 2 barracuda and had a big wahoo jump at one of our lines and break us off. We had a great experience on this charter. The crew was outstanding — Captain Charlie and his first mate, Kiki took excellent care of us from start to finish and made sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time. We had a decent day fishing and caught 4 Barracuda. You never know exactly what you’re going to catch, but that is fishing anywhere you go. Overall we did catch fish and had a good time out on the water. That being said the boat was on the less maintained side and then engines were louder and stinkyer than typical in the states. When I’ve had slow/rough fishing trips before talking to the local captain and mates really made up for it. Due to the slight language gap and the captain driving from above the cabin this was hard.
