Fishing Pro Charter – Divina 35' 

We had a great experience with Fishing Pro Charter – Divina 35'! From start to finish, everything was well organized and professional. We were picked up promptly at our resort and taken to the marina, where Francisco greeted us. He explained how the day would go, answered our questions, and introduced us to our mate, Guy. Guy then took us by a small boat out to the Divina 35', where we met our captain, Carlos. Unfortunately, Mother Nature wasn't exactly on our side. It was windy and rainy, and my daughter and I were seasick for almost the entire trip. The crew couldn't have been more understanding. They even offered to take us back to shore, but we wanted to stick it out so the boys could keep fishing. Guy was absolutely incredible—he checked on us constantly, made sure we were as comfortable as possible, and even "dumped our bucket" more times than I'd like to admit! His kindness and sense of humor made a rough day much easier. They had snacks, sandwiches, and drinks for us. Only my husband took advantage of some beverages. Even though the fishing was slow, my son was excited to catch a fish! That's fishing—you have to remember that no charter can guarantee a full boat, and sometimes the conditions just aren't in your favor. To top it all off, instead of taking us back to the marina, they arranged for a water taxi to drop us off right at our resort, which was such a nice touch and a perfect ending to the day. While I hope for calmer seas next time, I would absolutely book with Captain Carlos, Guy, and Francisco again. Their professionalism, customer service, and genuine care for their guests made all the difference. Highly recommend!

I have been dreaming of a fishing trip like this since I was a child.. and it did not disappoint! We set out on a 4 hour fishing trip - 2 adults and 4 kids. As expected the kids got seasick, but the crew was super helpful with buckets and cold water. We ended up cathing 1 barracuda and 3 mahi mahi's and had an amazing day. I could spent my entire vacation fishing if it was allowed by the wife - maybe i would leave the kids at home ;) I can definitely recommend this trip!

Captain Starling, Louis and Kiko making it happen in D.R. From beginning to end a fantastic time. Plenty of food, beer, water and fishing. Kiko and Louis never left a dull moment. Captain kepts us in the game all day. Caught a couple Mahi-mahi and watched a huge hit from a jumping marlin. Didn’t hook the marlin, but the sight of the jump was awesome. Add in some dolphins I couldn’t have asked for better. Hope to see these guys next year. 

The fish weren't cooperative, but thats beyond anyone's control. We still had a great time with Captain Carlos and Mate Eli. They did everything they could to put us on the fish, but, thats why its called 'fishing', not 'catching'. The boat and equipment were nice, and we did manage to catch a few Mahi Mahi. Would we have liked to catch more? Hell yes!! Do we blame the crew? Hell No!!!! I'm already looking forward to my next trip on the Divina with Carlos and Eli. Make sure you ask Francisco about cooking your catch, right off the boat and into the restaurant. Mahi Mahi three ways. Even my 'anti-fish' son loved it. Of the six of us, 4 had never been deep sea fishing, and 2 had never held a rod in their lives. Everyone had a great time and we're already talking about 'next time'. Book the Divina, you won't be disappointed, regardless of the catch!!

I'm an experienced angler, and this was one of the best deep-sea fishing excursions I've had. My wife and I went on a 9-hr trip. We trolled and caught 10 fish: 7 mahi mahi and 3 barracuda. While the fishing was strong and the weather was great, the best part was how well-choreographed the experience was. Francisco runs an incredible operation. Communication was clear and timely up front, payment was simple, we were picked up and dropped off at our resort (10-min drive) for no added charge, the entire crew was immensely helpful and friendly, and a nearby beach club was very accommodating by cooking our catch and preparing wonderful food afterward. Several people helped throughout the day to ensure everything was seamless, and we are particularly grateful for Francisco (owner), Carlos (captain), Guy (first mate), and Anthony (driver). Collectively, the team made this a very memorable experience, and I highly recommend them to others.
