We apologize at Hook’N Up Sport Fishing for your less than stellar experience. Large sport fishing vessels are mechanical pieces of equipment that occasionally break down. Our top priority is always customer safety and since we pay for towing services, we had them assist backing us into our slip because of heavy tide current flows. We always had control of our vessel with one of the 600 hp diesel continuing to operate. Our skipper also gave the customer a 50% off coupon for his next sport fishing trip. Ron, I had sent you an email the day after your charter about how sorry I was that your crew got sick and offered a discount on your next trip. Our booking service gets a flat commission for booking trips and it is difficult for us to give credits on half day trips when people come back early because most of our expense is getting the boat ready and cleaning it up. On full day trips I can always give a credit back if the trip is cut short because I have more to work with. I would like to find a way to make you reconsider recommending us as we aim to please our clients

as I stated in a reply to your email. we can’t control the bite and we got the light tackle out just to try and catch something.  we even brought live shrimp because we knew the trolling was slow and we didn’t even charge for that. the fishing booker site clearly states **hidden content** bait is $80 a dozen and is extra. I have attached a picture that a current client just took of our light tackle and it is not rusty and old. these are too of the line shimano bait runner series reels on $100.00 diawa jigging rods..yea, they may need to be serviced because we use them alot but they are top end gear.

We must allow the captains or mates child to be on the boat if they can’t find a suitable sitter for them because it does happen when their wives work. in my tech business we even provide breast feeding rooms to keep out employs able to work and balance family life.

for fishibg booker customers please know I gave this client a $100.00 refund to make up for slow fishing even though we can’t control that.

We have one of the nicest boats in the fleet and have some of the best gear of any boat in the fleet and pride ourselves on our gear even though fishing everyday for 4 to 6 months does take its toll in the gear and we are constantly rotating in gear that just was serviced so we can take our current gear and get it serviced
