Thanks for coming fishing with us Dawn, enjoyed having you out fishing,  fishing has been slow since about mid february, this is sail season and the sails did not show, but as the whole season goes it has been one of the best ever marlin seasons i have seen, they are usually gone by now as marlin season is June thru mid January,  the day after you on board we had 6 marlin bites,  november & december it a smany mahi and tuna you want to catch, water warms up this time of year and they dissipate,  sorry the toilet not working on the day you went out, marine toilets are not very reliable and break down often especially if people put paper in them, it tears the pump up, we had to wait for a day off to fix it and to see if we could even find the parts in costa rica,  it is a lot more difficult & expensive to operate in Costa Rica compared to the States, parts are hard to find and very expensive, the toilet part was $370 here, only $117 on amazon,  it is extremely expensive to operate a boat in costa rica and thats why trips are expensive here, good news,  the toilet is fixed now,  we do take Credit cards with a 3% fee thru square on my fishing business in Alaska, but the card reader does not work outside of the USA, that is squares policy and not mine, so totally out of control, plus the money then goes into a bank account in Alaska, and cant access the money here in costa rica to pay all the bills here in costa rica,  sorry we did not feed you any fruit we had a pineapple onboard, but the crew concentrates on watching the spread for fish so not to miss a bite and we just forgot, sometimes you just need to ask to remind us,  anyway wa sa fun day and glad you got a nice marlin, and some mahi for dinner.
