Captain Pete was raised in a family where fishing and hunting were of extreme importance. He grew up fishing the Sacramento, Feather, and Yuba Rivers. This is a passion he's carried with him his entire life and, by starting a guiding service, Captain Pete has been able to share this love and passion with his friends and guests.
Techniques
For salmon I prefer plug fishing using a method called back trolling, I will change up though when the fish prefer other techniques and method. Striped bass I prefer artificial and or live baits depending on the environment that is happening to be in.

Striped bass season is in full swing in Northern California on the Sacramento and Feather rivers. Both tributaries are producing well on mainly live bait and artificial baits using drift and telling methods. What a great time to spend with friends and family. Now is the time to get on the books!!!
