We set out in the morning to fish for red fish and the Captain knew exactly where to go. We caught a total of 5 different Reds with 2 of the smallest being top slot fish with weights of 7 lbs each.  While fishing we had a dolphin which stayed near feeding.  We also caught two blue fish and a grouper at this same location.  While fishing there we got to watch another guy on another charter pull in a nice Cobia, this was considered to be a rare catch with the day earlier a different one was caught... Captain Michael took me and my two sons, 10 and 13, on the 4 HR in shore trip.  We targeted red fish using artificial bate and light tackle.  We had an awesome trip and Captain Micheal was great.  We all caught red fish and they put up a good fight on the light tackle.  Michael was very knowledgeable and did a great job guiding and instructing.  He also did a great job filleting the fish, which we had for dinner that night.  They were delicious.  I highly recommend Michael for your fishing... First time we have ever bay fished and we really enjoyed it. We caught a lot of big fish and made a great memory that we will cherish forever. Captain Mike was so polite and friendly. We loved being on his boat. He knows what he is doing. Thank you Captain Mike for a good day on the water!

Capt Mike is the best captain!Epic day of fishing! Started off slow but he had the patience for us to catch mutiple species! Not only will he put you on the fish but he is the most patient and personable guy!  He helped my wife alot with his positive demeanor.This is my second trip with Shallowtails and it will not be my last! His knowledge of the changing waters is second to none. Felt like i was fishing with family! I highly recommend him.
