  4 Hour Trip on July 10, 2026 • 2 adults

  Had an awesome trip with Ben as our captain today! We went inshore fishing and ended up catching some Mangrove Snapper that made for a great dinner. Ben had everything covered — the boat was well equipped, rods and reels were provided, and he had all the bait ready to go. He was a great guide, worked hard to put us on fish, and made the whole experience enjoyable. We had a pretty wild start to the morning with a strong storm rolling through, but Ben kept us safe and we were able to get under the bridge and still have a productive beginning to the trip. We caught three early, including a nice-sized fish, and then toward the end we moved to a new spot he hadn’t really fished before and absolutely got on them. Overall, it was a great day on the water. Ben is knowledgeable, puts in the effort, and genuinely wants his customers to have a great experience. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a great inshore fishing trip!

  Our private inshore charter with Ben was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Navigating the coastal waters was a breeze, and he put us right on the fish without the rough waves of the open ocean. Here is what made our trip so special: Ben knew the local bay like the back of his hand. He was extremely patient, shared great technical tips, and made sure everyone had a blast.

  Had a 4-hour trip with Cpt Ben of Great Southern Charters. Had an awesome time where we caught plenty of fish. Cpt Ben is down to earth and worked hard to make sure we were stayed on fish and had a memorable trip. We only kept 6 fish, but caught many more. I would definitely recommend Cpt. Ben with Great Southern Charters!

  WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! Ben was extremely kind, down to earth, very quick, and efficient. He took us to different places to find the fish. He was great at explaining how to use the equipment and how to set the hook. He was great at navigating his boat. He made sure to remind us to stay hydrated and made sure we felt comfortable on the ride out. We were able to catch big fish and had the best time. Thank you Ben!! We will 100% be back again.

  Super friendly, knowledgeable and personable. He made the trip very enjoyable for our entire party. He even attached a fake engagement ring to a line for my daughter to reel in and her now finance to propose. It was a special day for all of us and he made perfect. Will definitely book again.
