Captain Tim Gould has been fishing since he was a kid growing up in Wyoming. In 2001 he and his wife relocated to the Milwaukee area and he's been fishing Lake Michigan ever since! A trolling expert, he loves to go after the variety of Salmon and Trout found in the area. His favorite part of his job is watching youngsters reel in a big fish with a big smile!     Amazing Fishing Trip

    5Hour Trip (PM) • 2 adults

    Grizzly Charters, well what can I say...from the moment contact was made with Tim Gould the Skipper, which was 5 months prior to the trip and the fact that I live in the United Kingdom, Tim was great from the word go and kept in regular contact with me. Tim even suggested to us to change our booking from the afternoon session to morning session to maximise the chance of catching fish but also with regards to the weather which shows this guy cares about his clients experiance. The fishing session on the day was absolutely brilliant, and of course we caught fish...my friend that was with me had never caught a fish in his life and on the day landed a pretty decent rainbow trout and coho salmon myself a PB brown trout and coho salmon amazing. Tim's boat, set-up and gear was second to none with all the latest tech needed for a successful fishing trip. I would recommend Grizzly Charters to anyone who wants to fish Lake Michigan you will not be disappointed. At the end of the session Tim expertly cleaned, prepped and packaged our catch, he even through in a couple of T-shirts too. I will definitely be back for more...Tim thank you so much for making our American road trip even that much more special...Steve & Paul

    Fishing with Tim

    5 Hour Trip (AM) • 2 adults

    We had a great time fishing with Captain Tim. He was patient and gave us a real hands on experience. Even in some rough weather conditions he made the best of our time and made sure we got some fish. Would absolutely recommend going out with Grizzly Charters.

    It was my pleasure to take Jill and her friend "Bam" fishing. The wind could have been kinder but we still managed to get "Bam" his first ever lake Michigan fish , a nice 8.5 pound rainbow. We also got 3 smaller fish before having to cut our trip short . I am looking forward to taking them out again next season.

Enjoyable morning on Lake Michigan

Had the pleasure of taking Steve and Paul out this morning. Had a tough time keeping fish on the lines but they did manage to get these nice fish in the net . 2 nice cohos 1 brown trout and 1 rainbow trout. Can't wait until you come back again and we'll do better next time.
