- I grew up on the rivers of Alaska and have spent countless days learning their seasons, their fish, and the small details that make every trip unique. Guiding allows me to share places that have meant so much to me with people from all over the world. My philosophy is simple: this is your trip. Whether you're chasing your first salmon, hoping to land a trophy rainbow, or just want to enjoy a relaxing day surrounded by incredible scenery, I'll tailor the experience to your goals and the conditions on the water. I'll always give you honest advice about which trip is the best fit and work hard behind the scenes to make sure your day exceeds expectations. For me, the best part of guiding isn't just catching fish—it's watching clients create memories they'll be talking about long after they leave Alaska. I take pride in working hard, paying attention to the little details, and making sure every guest feels welcome, comfortable, and confident on the river.
- Techniques
- We primarily fish from custom-built 20-foot aluminum drift boats and river sleds, using proven techniques such as drift fishing and back trolling to maximize success throughout the season. Every trip is tailored to current river conditions, fish behavior, and your experience level. We're proficient in every legal fishing technique available on these rivers and will choose the approach that gives you the best opportunity for a productive day. If you're a fly angler, we've got you covered too—we're happy to accommodate fly fishing whenever conditions allow and can tailor the trip specifically to your style.
