- I grew up fishing with my dad in Australia, spending any chance I got on the water. My grandfather gave me my first boat when I was 12, a 12-footer with 4 HP outboard. I spent all of my youth on the water, in the water, or near the water. In my early 20s, I worked as a scuba and freediving instructor in Sydney, Australia, spending 6 days a week in and under the water. Fast forward 15 years and I'm a proud dad, husband, and US citizen who spends every chance he can get guiding clients, family, and friends. I am fortunate to live and fish in an area that is beautiful, has a good fish population, and a great local community. I annually spend over 100 days on the water and on days off I enjoy building custom rods, fishing with my boys (my youngest is with me in the picture above), and coaching my son's baseball team.
