We had a great experience with Lyle during our trip. The location was beautiful and the weather was perfect. We drifted for Walleye for a while but the current wasn’t cooperating, so we switched to Smallmouth. We caught several great fish and had a wonderful time. My wife does not fish much and Lyle was both encouraging and professional in helping her catch her first Smallmouths. My 14yo son and I enjoyed a four hour morning with Lyle, fishing on the Niagara River. I am a complete amateur, but my son LOVES to fish. We had such a fun morning and we really appreciated learning so much from Lyle who is so knowledgeable about the local area, the river, and fishing in general.  My son is asking to go again as soon as possible!! 

Lyle was easy going, organized, and personable. He was very patient with Mom and I. We had a great time catching some huge fish! I would highly recommend him to other people visiting Niagara!

My sister and I took our dad on a fishing excursion for his 70th birthday. We found out about Hooked on Niagara after doing a little bit of research online. Captain Lyle took amazing care of us! He was very patient, friendly and knowledgeable. He knows the river very well and clearly has a ton of experience fishing it. The boat was immaculate and the gear was in near perfect shape.
