We booked a shark fishing charter in October while on vacation in the area. I can see why Gary has such positive reviews. He was great with communication and answered all my questions before I pulled the trigger. He was waiting for us in an easy-to-find launch with plenty of parking.

He was extremely professional and made me and my family (Me, Wife, 10 year old and 13 year old) feel comfortable immediately. Boat had plenty of room and was very clean. Bathroom was clean as well. With music playing and Gary pointing out interesting landmarks we were on our way.

After a quick trip to the fishing reefs, he worked hard to find us fish. We caught bait, and it was perfect to keep everyone on fish while we also had lines out for sharks.

We caught a shark and boy was it an amazing fight. My son and I fought it for around an hour and when we brought it up to the surface, it was an instant memory we will talk about for the rest of our lives. A gigantic shark that was longer than my kid! We got plenty of pictures and Gary took some video of us. Simply amazing from start to finish. Our arms were still shaking as we ate lunch after getting in from fishing. We still talk about this awesome experience!

There are people that do this for money, and there are people like captain Gary who do it because they love it. If you’re looking for a great fisherman by charter for this area, look no further. Captain Gary is beyond friendly, extremely experienced and has secret fishing spots marked that no one else does. Boat and full bathroom are clean, equipment is professional grade, and he goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is memorable. He took great photos and video for us, and kept our lines so busy with grouper, shark, snapper and others!

Captain Gary was great.  We had three first time offshore fishing kids with us and Captain Gary did a great job explaining everything to them.  Captain Gary put us on a ton of fish.  Perfect trip!

As a local I’ve been on many fishing charters but Captain Gary is the best.  This was our first time out with Captain Gary.  He got us out to a spot quickly and immediately put us on fish.  His relaxed attitude and patience makes it a joy to fish with him.  He took us to multiple spots which all had fish.  We brought home grouper, snapper, and a trigger fish.  We even managed to hook 2 sharks.  All in all a great day with Captain Gary.  Can’t wait to get out there again with him.  Thank you Captain Gary !!

We had a wonderful time with Captain Gary and Phil! I have never been on an offshore trip and they were so helpful. I was with my college daughter, her boyfriend and my son in law. We all caught grouper and other fish. Took some to a local restaurant for a wonderful lunch. Would definitely recommend Captain Gary for your next trip.
