He’s a second-generation Florida fisherman whose number 1 priority is making sure you have a great fishing experience.
Jump aboard his 29’ Everglades center console powered by twin Suzuki engines that get you to those productive offshore grounds fast! Extras including the latest in navigational and fishfinder technology, as well as a high-end stereo system make your trip even better.
Capt. Gary is USCG-licensed and has the permits to get you fishing beyond the 9-mile state water limit. Bottom fishing is the name of the game here and you’ll head up to 60 miles out in search of several varieties of Snapper, Grouper, Hogfish, Seabass, and Amberjack. You can also do some trolling for other fish that calls these waters home, including Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, and King Mackerel! Book a Shark trip and battle the big ones.
Gary also provides all licenses, equipment, and plenty of ice for your catch. Capt. Gary will prepare dead bait before the trip, but if you want to use live bait you and the captain can catch it together.
There’s no minimum age for kids and life jackets in all sizes are provided. Catch cleaning and filleting is included in the price, if the total number of fish cleaned is under 50. Your deckhand and capt work for tips. If you’re happy with the service, a 15-20% tip is customary.

3/4 Day Trip - BIG FISH! on July 2, 2026 • 5 adultsCaptain Gary took us out in the morning and even bumped up our start time to beat the heat! His deckhand was extremely helpful as well with help us catch Grouper, a few Bonito and even a shark! This trip was a great experience and would recommend it to any type of fisherman, experienced or not it was a blast. If I find myself down in the area again I'll be sure to book with Captain Gary again, well worth the money! P.S. the grouper that they fileted for us was delicious when we took it home and threw it on the grill! Makes for great dinner plans if you take fish home! Thanks again Captain Gary!

We caught Amberjacks, Grouper, and a Goliath Grouper which was a highlight. The boat was well kept and the equipment was solid. The crew was quick and efficient at switching out gear and baiting hooks. Just an all around great experience!

We didn’t get as much offshore fishing in as we would’ve like it Gary found us some other spots to fish. When the wind died down enough he got us back out. We ended the day on a great note catching a Goliath grouper. Gary knows his fishing.

3/4 Day Trip - BIG FISH! on December 5, 2025 • 5 adultsAll fishing trips come with uncertainty. One of our gang was sea-sick the entire time. We had to do some searching to find the fish, but we certainly did find the fish. Mostly smaller fish the entire time. Never did get to land any decent sized fish. Tackle varies as well. We had smaller tackle, but the crew had our hooked baited quickly after every catch and we came back with over 30 keepers to eat at a local restaurant! Aidan was ACES and Captain Gary was great as well. Overall a super fun time.

We booked a 5- hour Hogfish charter and loaded the box with the first 2 hours. then we headed out further for some AJs and King Mackeral. the days was perfect. they worked hard, put us on fish, played great music and made it a perfect day. 10/10.

Took my wife and son out for his graduation present.When we got to the fishing grounds captain pretty quickly located fish. We were able to catch alot of grouper unfortunately almost all were just about an inch under legal size. Anyone who thinks all they will catch is keepers has never been fishing Still came home with some red snapper 1 grouper a few other mix fish and sore arms from reeling.Deckhand Aiden was friendly professional and johnny on the spot with our lines and our bait keeping our hooks in the water. Would definitely recommend this trip.

Captain Gary's father was one of Florida's early Billfishing Captains out of Pensacola Beach and Islamorada. Capt. Gary was out catching Marlins while other kids were skateboarding! After graduating from college, he found himself in Texas and continued to offshore fish on the Texas and Louisiana Coasts. He currently captains the 'Reel Bliss', a 29' Everglades out of Clearwater Beach. Everything necessary for making your offshore fishing trip a success is provided, including a USCG licensed experienced Captain and top-notch gear. Everyone from the novice first-timer to the seasoned pro is welcome aboard!
