  Perfect Fishing Experience to Celebrate a Birthday

  3 Hour Trip – Gatun Lake - 9:00 AM on August 21, 2026 • 3 adults

  We had an awesome time and couldn’t have asked for a better family fishing trip! The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and knew exactly where to take us to find fish. They set us up with good equipment, lures, and bait, and we caught snook, Oscar fish, jack crevalle, and peacock bass during the trip. We were celebrating our son’s birthday, and the crew made sure he had a great time, which made the experience even more special. They were also able to arrange round-trip transportation from Dreams Playa Bonita for an additional cost, which made the entire day very easy for us. As an unexpected bonus, we even saw monkeys on the way back! It was a perfect day, a lot of fun for our whole family, and one of the highlights of our trip to Panama. Highly recommend!

  Amazing Family Fishing Experience!

  We had an absolutely amazing fishing experience with Captain Carlos and his assistant Robert. Their service went far beyond just taking us fishing. From picking us up directly from our hotel, taking wonderful care of our entire family throughout the fishing trip, to bringing us to a local restaurant afterward where they cooked the fish we caught, and finally dropping us back off—the service was truly unbelievable! Carlos and Robert were incredibly friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had kids and grandparents with us, and they made sure everyone felt comfortable and had a chance to enjoy fishing. We caught several different types of fish. This was much more than a fishing trip—it was a complete, personalized experience from beginning to end. One of the highlights of our Panama vacation and an experience we will always remember. Highly, highly recommended! 🎣🐟🇵🇦🌴

  Amazing Canal Fishing!

  5.5 Hour Trip - Gatun lake on July 8, 2026 • 2 adults

  We had a great time on this fishing trip. Roberto, our driver and guide, was amazing, and Carlos was a great captain. Carlos did a really good job reaching out beforehand to ask if there was anything we needed or wanted, what our preferences were, and what species we were hoping to target so he could have the right equipment ready and help make sure we had the best day possible. We went in July, which is not peak season, but we still caught a jack crevalle and a couple of peacock bass during the five-and-a-half-hour trip. They were very willing to go after the species we requested, and were able to make great plans for each species. We also saw monkeys, a toucan, and an alligator, which made the experience even better. We left at 6 a.m. and got to enjoy a gorgeous sunrise. The boat was very nice, the equipment was good, the location beyond incredible, and the whole experience was fun from start to finish. Transportation to and from our hotel was also very clean and convenient for the additional $70 fee. One practical tip: paying in cash may help avoid the credit card processing fee, so it is worth planning ahead if that matters to you. Overall, highly recommend.

  The most AMAZING Peacock Bass Fishing & Monkey Island Tour

  3 HOURS TRIP GATUNLAKE - 9:00 AM on May 24, 2026 • 5 adults • 2 children

  This trip was by far the most fun we have had in Panama! We originally booked for 9am, as we are not early risers & we had just flown in from the US the night before, however, the capt let us know that the fishing would be much better earlier. We arranged for hotel pick up at 6:30 am & Roberto was right on time. We arrived at such a beautiful lake, Roberto & Carlos took us right to the fish & we were instantly reeling them in! They were so patient with my 9 & 11 yo children keeping bait on the hooks, and untangling our lines on twigs. Carlos is an excellent fisherman, and you can tell how passionate he is about fishing. He would spot the fish and guide us exactly when to reel in our line- he made it so easy!! We all had such a great time. We finished our time with the titi & white face monkeys feeding them nuts and bananas & even spotted a sloth! Do yourself a favor & book these guys for your next adventure on gatun lake. They do not disappoint!!

  Great Day of Fishing with Rene

  Captain Rene is very good. He is a strong communicator and soeak Spanish and English fluently. We tried for different species and different fishing approaches, which i emjoyed. He made sure we caight fish and was very accomodating. He even had marvelous empanadas and coffe for out early morning trip to Gamboa marina. i recommend Rene highly!
