Captain Dave is a great guide. We got our early and despite the rough seas we made the best of the river. Dave is extremely knowledgeable and that makes the overall experience even better for the beginner, intermediate, or experienced. The close, one on one makes it feel like you are fishing with a friend rather than a guide. Caught ten fish and didn’t even leave the river. My father and I had a great time and plan on going again. Thanks again Dave!

We set out at 5:45 am and started fishing immediately after a quick review of the fishing rods We had a pleasant time talking to Dave as we motores into open waters. We caught many blue fish as well as Black Sea bass which we enjoyed for dinner that same day. It was an excellent experience and we highly recommend Captain Dave as Gris knowledgeable and very patient and friendly.

My friend and I were lucky enough to charter with Altrich Anglers. We pulled some many big stripers (slobs) over the rail. It was a day I will never forget. Dave put us on the fish, walked us through the proper technique when using his hand turned and painted wood poppers, and help us land some of the biggest stripers I have ever had the pleasure of fighting. He knows the area and willingly shares his knowledge to make your experience memorable. It was an all around 5 star day.

Capt. Dave is a great captain with attention to detail! He makes his own plugs for striped bass that are killer! This guy is fishy (in the good way)!!! Capt. Dave has a beautiful Novi style boat that will keep you safe if the weather gets bad and cuts down the typical chop of buzzards bay nicely so after a day out on the water you won’t feel like you got run over by a bus. I would highly recommend Capt. Dave for your Buzzards Bay fishing charter!
