My buddy and I booked this fishing charter with a goal in mind. To catch the beautiful Roosterfish and potentially take some good eating back home to the house. Capt Luis and his mate were very kind and informative. Luis enjoyed answering any questions we had and conversed in other things not fishing related. Our 18 yr old son loves to fish so this was top of our list when visiting Costa Rica. He caught a yellow fin tuna, Mahi Mahi and multiple other fish (rabbit, grouper, Margherita fish and banana fish). The crew cleaned it and we grilled the tuna steaks for dinner back at our VRBO. We had a nice family day trip and it was an amazing time. We weren’t sure if we would catch anything significant, but ended up catching two ~150lb sailfish! Started off with the captain showing up on time and with great attitude joking around as soon as we got on the boat we immediately made our way out to the spots as soon as we dropped the hooks in the water we go at least 4 mahi within 5 minutes. no joke! caught at least 30 fish the decks hand were very helpful even made us some ceviche and sashimi with one of the fish we caught!
