Let me start off by saying when I booked this trip, I didn’t realize that it would be a 2.5 hour drive for us but reading the description about the kid friendly experience the wife and I decided to keep the booking and make the drive and boy are we glad we did. Capt. Anthony was absolutely amazing! He was super friendly and great with our two boys (10 and 4). We had a beautiful day for fishing and Capt. Anthony got us right on the fish.

Capt. Anthony was very informative and great with answering all the questions the kids had, even the 4 year old that questions everything… 😅. Our 10 year old has some experience fishing so after we got him started and the wife and I were catching fish, Capt. Anthony took our youngest for one on one and helped him out so mom and I could enjoy ourselves as well.

Even though the fish didn’t stop biting the whole time we were out there, eventually the attention span of the children shifted from the fish in the ocean to the bait fish in the boat. Capt. Anthony kept them busy by “giving them a job” and having them dip out bait fish when lines needed fresh bait which the kids absolutely loved.

All in all, if we ever find our selves back in his part of Florida we will definitely be return customers. Heck, we may even make the 2.5 hour drive again the experience was so good.

First time out for me and my three boys (16,14,12). We had a wonderful time. Our goal was to catch several species of fish and take some fish home to eat. We caught 11 different species of fish and brought more than enough fish home. Anthony was great with my sons. He is really good at reading people and knowing their level of fishing experience. My boys fish in the Midwest but this was their first time out on the ocean. We went several miles off shore and fished several good spots. Anthony is really good at communicating in advance and working his hardest for the customer. He is good at explaining things and setting you up to succeed. He took his time to clean all of our fish really nice (compared to some of the other guides we saw who quickly clout through the fish and left a lot of meat on the bone).

Definitely, memories we will cherish for a lifetime. It was a joy to spend a morning with him. I am glad we chose him for the good reviews we saw. We definitely will choose Anthony when we come back to Florida. My sons say, “Fishing with Anthony is a must!”

He put us on a great variety of fish that we were excited to catch.  He recommended delaying our trip by a day to have a much nicer experience in the Gulf. The weather was perfect and the water was smooth like glass.  He was so knowledgeable about the weather and the tides as well as what was biting where and what bait was best for what we were targeting.  We caught many different species of fish.  There were some that we could not keep because they were not in season but they were so fun to fight into the boat.

Captain Anthony was kind, professional, personable, and fun.  We could tell that he enjoys what he does.  He cared about if we were comfortable, safe, catching fish and having a good time.  We think he had just as good of time as we did catching fish and having an excellent experience on the water.
