Started off getting picked up by Alberto at are hotel. Great guy and was a fisherman himself. He really set the tone for the trip. We get to the dock and left immediately after arriving for a 3/4 day trip. These guys don’t mess around and want to catch fish.

We started off trolling and the bit was a little slow. We decided to open up the cooler and have a few beers and it started the feeding frenzy. First we caught a decent size barracuda. Then we trolled a little further out and saw some Mahi Mahi jumping. We get a bit and missed it but the other line dropped hard. It was a massive yellow fin tuna. My son and I tag teamed him all the way up to the boat. Couldn’t ask for a better experience with my son. It was exhausting reeling him in but totally worth it.

After all that we headed to Catalina Island to go swimming and cook the prize fish. They pulled right into the beach and the First Mate was tossing beers to us like Sammy Sosa from the boat to us in the water (about 30’ away). The entire crew worked on preparing a feast for my family. All we had to do was swim and catch beers from a distance😉 We had lobster and yellow fin tuna with several sides. These guy’s can cook!!! Then on the way back we had a fruit sample platter and fudge for dessert.

This is a must trip for any kind of fisherman. I have been fishing several times and Ricky’s Crew knows what’s up. Thanks for everything from the Richman Family

Boat was very clean and great shape.  Crew was very attentive.  Equipment was good and they offered us a selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.  They also helped setup transportation from and to our hotel from the boat.  The early charter got some beautiful and big fish, but bite seems to have turned off.  Crew offered to extend the charter past the scheduled end to try and get us on some fish.  Would recommend them if your looking for a fishing charter.

We had a great outing with the Brito crew. It was just my 8 year old son and me, and they worked super hard to make sure we caught some fish. My son was thrilled with his 6 barracudas (although he of course now tells people he caught 8-10 depending).
