Captain Vince has been fishing for 50 years. At first, he worked in the commercial industry, owned boats, tackle stores, later decided to run a fishing charter. This job is one of the best ways to enjoy the things he loves - fishing and the ocean. He loves working with people and kids and seeing them catch their first fish. Occasionally, he participates in fishing tournaments, and won Make the Wish tournament.

We had awesome trip with Captain Vince. Set off early and the game plan was to head south. Captain Vince worked his butt off to make sure we caught lots of fish and we were not disappointed. Another thing that became clear was that he knew how to keep us comfortable throughout, even when the weather turned. We'll definitely be returning.

3/4 Day Offshore TripI love fishing with the Patihopper guys! My Dad and I have been out with Captain Vince several times last couple years and every time out they not only find the fish but get them to the boat, and all the while teaching us along the way. We have caught Yellowtail, Tuna, Dorado as well as many of the other local species. If you're looking for a professional, knowledgeable and down to earth crew and Captain, Vince and the Pattihopper are excellent!

3/4 Day Offshore TripWhat a great experience I had with Captain Vince. He knows where to find the fish, boat was very comfortable and he makes fishing very fun. I’ve never caught as many fish as when I went out with him. Can’t wait to book my next trip.

Full Day Offshore TripI've been fishing many times with Captain Vince! He knows the best spots and it's always a blast hopping patties, chasing down the tuna. This mahi was the biggest fish I've ever caught and I didn't want to drop it so Captain Vince held it up for me! Thanks for all the memories and can't wait to get back out on the water with you!

What's biting with Patihopper Sportfishing in San Diego
Warm water species are still available, with Halibut and Rockfish also starting to reappear on the cards. Marlin, Tuna, and Albacore can be caught close to shore in years when the waters are warm.
