- Background
- As a young kid all of my summers were spent in the Rockport, Aransas Pass and Port Aransas area. Fishing and watching as how the area changes and grows in and out of the water has been an amazingly fun challenge to work with.
- Techniques
- The best style in my mind is the one that keeps fish biting, as the seasons change so does our approach. In early winter wading with lures, transitioning to working bottom structures, pushing into the back lakes in the airboat. Spring time working with shrimp and popping corks, transitioning to croaker. As late summer progresses moving back to live shrimp into fall and targeting multiple species of fish on shallower reefs with sharp drops.
